UniFi business Wi‑Fi and networks, set up in one day, on equipment you own.
Ubiquiti UniFi installer · Sydney and Australia-wide
FingerTip is a Ubiquiti UniFi installer for businesses in Sydney and across Australia. Set-up is from A$990 for one day on site, with equipment and any cabling quoted separately. Management is optional, from A$180 a month.
Free, 20 minutes. You leave knowing roughly what the set-up and the equipment would cost. No proposal you did not ask for.
What happens when the office internet drops out?
FingerTip can tell whether a drop-out comes from your network or from your internet provider, and tells you which. If staying online is critical for your business, FingerTip recommends a backup internet line, so the network stays connected when the main line fails.
Does FingerTip already run UniFi for other businesses?
Yes. FingerTip runs the self-hosted UniFi OS Server that Infrared uses to manage its clients' networks. Infrared is a home technology business working in security, automation and networks. FingerTip operates the server and keeps it and its UniFi software updated.
Domenico Mastroianni, who does every FingerTip network set-up, holds Ubiquiti's UniFi Full Stack Professional (UFSP) certification, awarded in 2026.

Is UniFi a good choice for a small business network?
Yes, for a business that wants one person to see and fix the whole network. UniFi is the business network range made by Ubiquiti. It puts the firewall, the switches and the Wi-Fi in one app. Ubiquiti says the equipment needs no licence or subscription to keep running (Ubiquiti). Those are FingerTip's two reasons for using it: the system works, and it needs no licence.
FingerTip is a UniFi installer: it installs and manages only Ubiquiti UniFi equipment. If your IT policy requires another brand, such as Cisco Meraki or Fortinet, FingerTip is not the right supplier.
Does FingerTip set up business networks outside Sydney?
Yes. FingerTip sets up business networks in Sydney and anywhere in Australia. Outside Sydney, Domenico flies to the site, and the travel is quoted and agreed before the job is booked. If you choose management, the network is then managed remotely.
If equipment fails at a site outside Sydney, FingerTip still does the job, and the travel is quoted before the visit is booked.
Can one business look after the network, the email and the website?
Yes. FingerTip sets up and manages UniFi business networks, sets up business email on your own domain and maintains websites, with hosting included.
When something stops working, FingerTip checks the network, the email and the website, instead of three suppliers pointing at each other.
The internet connection itself stays with your internet provider.
Who is FingerTip's network service not for?
- Businesses that need support around the clock. FingerTip has no 24-hour support.
- Large businesses with their own IT department.
- Businesses whose IT policy requires a brand other than Ubiquiti.
- Businesses that need a help desk for every computer, printer and Microsoft 365 account. FingerTip looks after the network.
- Jobs that are only new cabling. That is work for a registered cabler on their own.
